AN INKJET PRINTER IN ARCHITECTONIC SCALE

German design trio Sonice Development maintains an experimental vision when designing even the most simple products. Their invention Facadeprinter is a basic software-controlled robot that consists of a two-axis turntable and an airpressure printhead. This large-scale printer shoots its artwork from a distanced position dot-by-dot onto its surface. According to this method, inaccessible and also uneven surfaces, like sides of buildi can be used as a print canvas.
